The fashion and furniture industries are an important part of the Danish business community and constitutes the fourth largest export industries in Denmark. New digital investments will help the design companies through the COVID-19 crisis in solving some of the challenges the companies are facing today. There is a need to rethink exports and, in general, innovate the distribution channel’s that design, lifestyle and furniture industries primarily use today.

We are pleased to welcome Virtual Stage, led by Lifestyle & Design Cluster, Virsabi and Copenhagen Business School. In connection with the upcoming Elevated Order Days by CIFF, they will host a panel discussion and workshop, debating how we, in a responsible way, can sell more products to new markets and consumers, inviting experts, companies and industry professionals to participate in the debate.

The panel will include Trine Brodie, Designer at United Textil Group, Michael Harboe, CEO at Virsabi, Louise Boel, Head of Design programmes at KEA DESIGN, Carsten Holm, Founder and CEO at WODEN A/S and Ditte Bjerring, Founder of Vonoa.

Following the panel discussion, participants will have the opportunity to discuss how they can move forward by using new virtual technologies, potential barriers and in what context the new technologies will generate most value.
