At the end of January, during CIFF, doors open to a project that has been in the pipeline for some time – the B5 section of Showrooms.
The project has been named Village to reflect the ambitions of the featured brands to use their new permanent spaces to create a unique strong creative community that interacts on a daily basis. In the newly renovated B5, you can find brands like Oscar Jacobsen, Gant, Timberland and NA-KD.
In keeping with CIFF’s mission of fostering community, and with Village, CIFF will develop synergies between departments to establish a new and innovative environment. In the near future, the section will be open to other creative entities, such as photo studios and agencies, to support collaborations throughout Village and its creative community. The goal is to assemble brands and creatives that share a similar spirit in order for them to benefit from each other.
“We look forward to bringing more life and atmosphere to the new segment, which will be a carefully curated blend of menswear, womenswear and shoe brands, and in the near future other creative companies. We firmly believe that we can create the same tremendous energy that we experience at CIFF. When the right people come together, extraordinary things can happen,” said Kristian W. Andersen when unveiling the project.
In Village, we not only create connections between people, but synergies between fashion, sport, art and urban development. CIFF, CIFF Showrooms and now Village are located at the center of one of the most exciting projects in Copenhagen: Bella Quarter and Bella Business.
The official opening of Village takes place on January 30; the first day of the Fall / Winter 2019-20 fair.
