Q&A with Dea Kudibal

Dea Kudibal is an exclusive Danish brand founded in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves and shawls made from vintage fabrics. Read our Q&A with the designer below.

What does CIFF represent for you?

CIFF represents a broad portfolio of creative and commercial brands. The Dea Kudibal brand has been a part of CIFF during many seasons and we always enjoy to meet existing customers and colleagues and to establish new contacts.

 

What convince you to come here and become part of our community?

CIFF is especially a great platform for us to meet our Danish, Norwegian and Swedish customers and the last few seasons we also experience to get more international visits at CIFF

 

How are you represented in Scandinavia?

We have sales agents in Norway, Denmark and Sweden who we have been working together with for many years.

 

How do you want to increase your visibility?

We opened our first Dea Kudibal store in Copenhagen in December 2017 where we can display and tell the whole Dea Kudibal story. We also have a close cooperation with selected Dea Kudibal ambassadors and influencers. In general we believe in a well coordinated strategy including both on and offline.

 

 

 

Tell us about your brand?

Dea Kudibal is an exclusive Danish brand founded in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves and shawls made from vintage fabrics. In Spring 2008 the first Dea Kudibal clothing line was launched – epitomizing high quality, craftsmanship, detailing and playful colors.

 

Describe your SS19 collection?

The Dea Kudibal SS19 Collection is called “Bohemian Rhapsody” It is a colour explosion of pinks, greens, blues, red and yellow – All incorporated into unique prints with flowers, stripes, paisleys, graphics and bees.

 

Lastly is there anything you would like CIFF to bring you in the future?

When we have participated in fashion fairs in other countries, sometimes the fairs have organised a bbq/dinner for exhibitors and buyers which has been really nice.
